Would Jesus teach us to
follow Baptist doctrine?

Would Yeshua teach you that it really is alright to have His (The Lord's) Supper in churches and that His servant Paul was just a little confused as to what he said about it?
"When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper."
(1 Corinthians 11:20)

"But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body." (1 Corinthians 11:28-29)
Would Christ Jesus tell you that His chosen people, the Jews, are no longer an issue with Him and that He has totally forgotten them and all those old commandments (that were just for them) and now it's only "about YOU", the Gentiles?
"And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?" (Romans 11:23-24)

[Note: The roots of that tree into which you claim to be grafted into are those of Israel -- The Lord that you claim to serve; was, and still is, a Jew; The High Priest of Melchisedec, FOREVER. Think about it!]
Would our Lord and Saviour teach you that you HAVE TO BE BAPTIZED in water to be a member of the church?
"In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead." (Colossians 2:11-12)

"And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:42-43)

"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."
(Ephesians 4:4-6)

[NOTE: Again, read the words of Yeshua to the thief on the cross beside Him. He DID NOT say, "You will have to jump off that cross, go find some water, and get "dunked" first! There is only one baptism that is required; that is the initial baptism of the Holy Spirit that each and every believer in our Lord Christ Jesus receives at the time of his or her salvation. Water baptism, as it was originally intended, was for the Jews as a sign; "For the Jews require a sign..." (1 Corinthians 1:22a). ANY form of baptism, apart from that of the initial baptism of the Holy Spirit, therefore can only be attributed to "the WORKS of man" and hold the very real and very dangerous potential of paying allegiance to "another Jesus".]
Would Jesus teach you that you must still tithe 10 percent of your basic income as an "offering" to the pastor of your church?
"Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:2-4)

"...Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God." (Acts 10-4b)

[NOTE: Tithing (10%) of your income is mentioned NO WHERE in the New Testament. And although a true pastor, called of God, should not have to work for "McDonald's wages"; ten percent of one's income is no longer called for either. If we give any portion of our earnings (however great or small), it should be directed to God, the work of God in the spreading of the Gospel, and in helping the poor. In the Old Testamnet, the 10 percent that was to be given, was for feeding the Levi priests and their families. It was also kept in the storehouse for another very important reason...in keeping God's Holy Sabbath, even the ground that man tilled was to have a rest, every seventh year. So, in that seventh year when the ground was to be given rest, the foods in the storehouse were then used to feed all the people! The storehouse for all people is NO LONGER a part of our lives, the Levi priests are NO MORE, as Yeshua IS The High Priest of Melchisedec, FOREVER.]
Would Christ Jesus teach you that you really should pray in churches so that others can see and hear you doing so?
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:5-6)

[NOTE: Our Lord Jesus Christ never prayed in public or even in front of his disciples. When asked, He even taught His disciples how they should pray.]
Would our Lord Christ Jesus teach others to forget about His Fourth Commandment, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy"...that He changed His mind?
"And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it." (2 John 6)

"Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed." (Exodus 31:14-17)

[NOTE: So if you wish to continue believing in the "teachings and traditions of mankind" instead of taking heed to the words of Almighty God, then you will have to CHANGE HIS WORDS. What olive tree are you supposed to be grafted into?! If you claim Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, then you ARE a part of HIS tree -- Israel. And if indeed you are, then you will have to change the words PERPETUAL and FOR EVER -- something for you to think about the next time you are "in church" on the FIRST day of the week (which we call Sunday), instead of keeping God's day of rest on His Holy Sabbath; the SEVENTH day of the week (which we call Saturday).]
