Do you like jewelry like I do? I have an assortment of pins / brooches that my husband has gotten for me. And of course he knows just what I like. I do not care for "big and bold" or anything full of rhinestones. Just pins -- that started with a Lucite pin of roses that belonged to my mother (it now has a permanent home on my winter coat). I wear one each day, along with my small silver cross necklace, and usually my watch...that's it. Simply stated...I do like "pretty" things, for that is the way God has made women. But in all aspects of my life, modest and not even the appearance of "flashiness" are the keys to which I hold.

But there is something else that we must all be aware of...did you happen to notice above that I didn't mention earrings? I do not wear them. As with every word that God has given and with everything that He teaches us when we seek to know Him in Truth, it doesn't take too much for us to reason that earrings should be a careful issue with every True woman of God. Would you care to know why? Then come -- let us reason together...

We read in our Holy Bible, that in the last days things will become worse and worse. Overall morals will be (and have become), shall we just say, SEVERELY lacking (2 Timothy 3:1-7, 12-13). All we need to do is stop for a moment, look around us, and think. I feel fairly confident in saying that, I do not believe that any true Godly woman would have tattoos all over her body, nor would she consider piercing and having "earrings" (or 'body rings' I believe they call them) hanging from just about every conceivable part of body flesh (YUK! Just how DO they EAT with those "tongue rings" in their mouths?!) So, if my statement is correct (which it is), then WHY would all those who do have these "body rings" (men included) be so inclined to piercing themselves...intentionally and repeatedly?

Well, to answer that last question, we need to continue to think a bit further. In dealing with Wiccans, Witches, professed Satanists, and even the average un-saved individual in general, one soon discovers that they will do anything -- and everything -- which is in direct opposition to the Word of God. For instance, if you have been following along this site in order, then we have already discovered that nakedness and the "desire" to "show-off" one's flesh comes straight from the father of all lies, Satan. The Lord has told us that Satan is very subtle...he even tried to tempt our Lord in the wilderness, using Scripture. Satan is our enemy, plain and simple, and he will use ANY means to keep all that he can from the Truth...yes, he even uses God's Holy Word (through his "church" -- Roman Catholic -- almost the whole earth has swallowed the "Sunday Sabbath" lie...can you "see"?...the subtle use of Scripture to pervert the Truth).

Most women today have their ears pierced, because there is a "bigger selection" of pierced earrings than of the clip-on type. And of course, "Everyone else I know has pierced ears". Ummm...have you ever wondered "WHY" that is so? Could there be any possible reason why our enemy would want us to "cut our flesh"? Actually, there IS!

I realize that at first glance, many will say, "Well...the only thing I read was that we are not to 'cut ourselves for the dead'. I certainly didn't read anything about 'piercing'!" But if you say that and then STOP thinking, then you cannot "see" anything! Almighty God forbids anything that could possibly even give the "appearance" of doing that which He has told us not to do. Try talking to a Wiccan, Witch, or Satanist with your ears being pierced, while observing a "Sunday Sabbath", wearing a pair trousers (or any other inappropriate clothing for that matter), and with your "American Shorthair" cut job, and see just how long they will listen to anything that you have to say. "For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth." Professing to be a child of God, YOU are now supposed to be one of His chosen people. So if you are using the title "CHRISTian" but are NOT following the Word of God, you are using the name of the Lord in vain...and you are a hypocrite...think about it! Because that is exactly how one of those precious lost souls who has followed the father of lies into the occult, is going to see you.

Most Satanists have at least one tattoo and multiple body piercings as well. And here is were we come back to, "WHY"? Because we are NOT to cut into our flesh! Come on now ladies...THINK! Would you intentionally take a knife, needle, or anything else, and intentionally pierce (or "cut") into your big toe? How about your thigh? No? How about any other part of your body? Then will you please ask yourself why you did it to your earlobes? It even hurts! Just as coloring your hair or painting your face tells Almighty God that He "needs some help in making ME prettier"...don't you think He could have placed a hole in your earlobe if He wanted one there?!

And don't you know that a Wiccan, Witch, or Satanist is going to know EXACTLY what God's Holy Word says? WHY? So that they know how to use it...AGAINST YOU! They see "CHRISTians" who "go to church every SUNday" as nothing more than a hypocritical group of people. Of course, if you have no interest in reaching these souls who are on a straight path to eternal damnation, then go ahead and ignore plain TRUTH...and keep on doing all these things which go clearly against the Word of God.

Because I started this page with something about myself, I know some of you may be wondering now, if I have pierced ears -- My mother took me when I was 13 years old to have them pierced. That is why I stopped wearing earrings when the Holy Spirit God showed me this and I do not wear any type of earrings at all now. Because many people recognize me at least by sight, and they remember seeing me before I gave my heart and life to the Lord...they remember seeing me wear earrings. Now, some of you may have never pierced your ears and you may wonder about earrings in general...or some of you may be wondering about Scripture which you may have read which speaks of putting "earrings in thine ears". It is our Lord speaking here in Ezekiel. There may be some who are familiar with this verse of Scripture and others, that make mention of rings on the face, or earrings, and feel that "piercing the ears" MUST be a contradiction to the matter of "earrings" and piercing...it is NOT. Please notice that I underlined "earrings IN". This is NOT a piece of jewelry which is placed through a man-made hole in the earlobe. If you search and ask for guidance as you study God's Holy Word (as you are supposed to!), then you should recognize something...Almighty God does NOT lie, contradict Himself, or confuse anyone (all of that, is what Satan does, and if you read ANY of the [per-]versions of Scripture and not the King James AV 1611, you will find many of Satan's lies and "contradictions").

It is all clear and very simple if you will but "study". Our Lord is very literal, so when He says "IN" the ear, then that is exactly what He means. In ancient times, God's people did NOT go around "poking holes" in themselves...any form of intentional SELF "flesh cutting" was associated with devil worship, and what we would call today, "sadistic". Ear piercing is totally self induced -- it is NOT a medical necessity of any kind and is strictly a personal choice.

The kind of earring which the Lord spoke of -- "I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put...earrings in thine ears..." -- was the kind that went "IN" the ear. Do you ever recall seeing an ancient "hoop" type earring that did not close to form a circle, but which had a "ball" at each of the two ends? Now how do you think that earring would fit through a small man-made hole in the earlobe? Well, you're right...it WOULDN'T!

The outer part of our ears hold their shape not because of an "ear bone", but it is constructed of flesh-covered cartilage. Our earlobes are comprised only of cartilage and fleshy tissue. Just above our earlobes is where the cartilage structure of our ears begin -- we have two "folds" that rise slightly upward and form almost a "V" shape with a type of "pocket" behind it, which acts as a protector against foreign objects entering into our ear canal, as well as concentrating sound into our ear for us to "hear". Between these two upward cartilage folds of this "V-shaped pocket", is a small space. If you took an ancient earring with the "balled ends" and placed one of these balls IN your ear (in this "pocket"), and then made sure that the "stem" below the ball was resting in the V-shape...Wa-La! The balled end of the earring would hold in place and not fall out, and the stem of the hoop would be hanging down -- an earring, "IN" your ear!

This is just one example of how earrings were worn...there are others. For example, what about a long "dangly" type earring? It would be the same basic principle. Look at the drawing here on the left (rendered from an actual earring). This type of earring also has a "ball" at the end of what is similar to "wire" earrings today. The ball on the end of this one is not that big, but you still would not be able to place it into a "hole" which has been poked into the earlobe. This earring works on the same principle as the hoop type mentioned above.

Looking at the hoop earrings pictured here, we see that there is no "ball" at either end of the open hoop. Notice also that there is no way to "secure" the earrings...if you tried to wear them as a "pierced" earring, they would fall out of a hole in your earlobe. So how do these work? When looking at artifacts from many different periods in history, pure metals were used in jewelry making. If something was made of gold, it was what we would call today 24k gold -- which is fairly "soft" and easily bent. So one could place their earlobe between the open ends and "pinch" the ends of the earring together, which would clamp them onto the earlobe. The earrings would then stay in place until you would pull the ends apart and remove them from your ear.

"So what if I don't have pierced ears? Or if my ears are already pierced, can't I just wear clip-on earrings?" Given the extreme wave of "body piercing" that is clearly going on around us today and the connotation connected to it -- this decision is between you and God Almighty. Nothing which is presented here or anywhere else is going to "make you change your mind"...each of us is responsible for knowing God's Word, and I can't MAKE you do or "SEE" anything -- that is the work of the Holy Spirit God...so yes, this and all other decisions regarding what you have read and learned, is between you and our Creator.

As for me -- I love my Lord with all my heart, mind, body, and strength, and I choose to do NOTHING that could stand in the way of His work and use for me. When I speak to another who is a Wiccan, Witch, or Satanist, they will not turn and walk away laughing...for I serve only the living God and take no part in the wiles of Satan.
