Fellowship Meal "Communion" |
![]() |
Today while walking past a local "Christian" Protestant church we couldn't help but notice the words written on their outdoor billboard, "FELLOWSHIP MEAL, COMMUNION".
It's interesting to note this fallacy of the churches -- again in total contradiction to the word of God. Why? -- Because it came from Roman Pagan tradition. We know that the term "Communion" is one of the Catholic (Roman Pagan) sacraments by another name, now equating to the "Lord's Supper" as mentioned in 1 Corinthians, chapter 11.
Now, let's take a closer look at what the Apostle Paul tells the church at Corinth, giving us another opportunity to "search the Scriptures" for the truth.
"When ye come together therefore into one place,
this is not to eat the Lord's supper." (verse 20)
WHAT is so hard to understand? If we want to know what to do, and what NOT to do, there is a very simple method to discern the truth. "Churches" -- Take what you have inherited from your "Mother", the Roman Catholic whore, and turn it completely around -- you'll get the TRUTH every single time!
While the situation in Paul's day was somewhat different, his premise, "When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper", REMAINS THE SAME. Now let's look at our modern day example of "Why."
I'm sure everyone reading this message has partaken of "Communion", known as "The Lord's Supper", in their "churches". And yes, Yeshua indeed said, "this do in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19b) But, what exactly was taking place as He told His disciples to do this? It was the feast of the Jewish Passover, which takes place on the 14th day of Abib (Exodus 13:4), now known to us as the 14th day of April.
NOTE: Passover and the pagan celebration known as Easter are NOT the same. Passover, "as it is written", is to ALWAYS be on the 14th of April; The pagan celebration of Easter falls on different days each year determined through "astrology" (i.e., The first SUNday, after the first full moon, after the Spring Equinox). So if your "church" plans to have "communion" this "Easter SUNday", shouldn't you be asking yourself just how much more perverted can you get from what is clearly written in the Word of God?! And just WHOM is it that YOU are paying allegiance to? -- I'm sure that the demon Ishtar will be loving you for it... and the SUN-god Tammuz will be thrilled as well. "See"? Even if no one knows, SATAN will see to the continuation of "traditions", so that Jesus Christ will get little or no honour. Traditions are what make the Word of God, of NONE EFFECT (Mark 7:13).
"When ye come together therefore into one place,
this is not to eat the Lord's supper." (verse 20)
PRACTICES IN OPPOSITION TO THE ACCEPTED WAYS OF THE LORD
CAN ONLY BE IN HONOUR OF: "ANOTHER JESUS".
The Lord's Supper as referred to by the Apostle Paul was, and still is, that which took the place of the Lord's Passover -- " And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover." (Exodus 12:11)
Paul goes on to administer a strict admonishment to the Corinthian church, "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." (verse 27) And what?... "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body." (verse 29)
So ask yourselves again my dear sisters, "Why" would the Apostle Paul have made such a stern statement? He's speaking of eternal damnation here and people in the "churches" are chompin' their little dried cracker pieces and downin' their little cup of grape juice like it was "no big deal". Get Real Ladies -- this is serious! The Lord's Supper is serious and you are NOT to partake of it "when ye come together therefore into one place", or during a so-called "Fellowship Meal" as mentioned above -- again, this is EXACTLY what Paul tells the church NOT to do. So why did Paul make this statement; WHY indeed?
The answer is found in a parable spoken by our Lord Himself, wherein we find a "dinner" banquet, to which "a certain king" had invited several guests to the "marriage of his son"... Will YOU be properly dressed for the occasion?... or even considered "worthy" to attend?
"Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord... For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body." (verses 27, 29)
Was pagan influence, such as the "Easter" feast that King Herod celebrated (Acts 12:4), invading the early churches even during Paul's day? -- Was our blessed Lord's Supper being used as the cover for the pagan Easter ritual even then? And you say, "Oh, It's different NOW!" Is it? Then this Easter, "eat" and "drink" to "another Jesus"... but first ask yourself this question: Would the king in the parable of which our Lord spoke, find you worthy to attend His Son's wedding? -- That of our LORD and HIS BRIDE -- THE CHURCH. "this do in remembrance of me." (NOT Ishtar, on "another sabbath", for "another Jesus"). And yes, I know; "but, my pastor said..." Remember this also: your pastor will NOT be with you when you stand before the Lord... for as it is written, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." (John 12:48)
Now you should be asking, "So where should we partake of The Lord's Supper?", "What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in?" (verse 22a) The disciples were Yeshua's family while He was ministering here on earth, and they were the only ones which were present with Him for this special occasion. They were "home", just them, our Lord and His family -- that of His disciples -- ONLY. While Yeshua told the disciples to go and prepare a place for this special Passover, for all practical purposes they were "home" -- NOT in a synagogue, or what is now called a "church". Our Lord did NOT gather together ALL of those who followed Him for this, the Passover on which He was about to become the sacrifical Lamb! Yes, again, it was ONLY Himself and what He considered to be His family (Matthew 12:49-50).
My husband had once written a three-page dissertation on this subject to a local fundamentalist pastor -- to whom it fell on deaf ears, apparently, as his response was; "What can I do to change it?" But think of this the next time you're in "church" and the juice and crackers are being passed around: "If you are saved, you're not supposed to be partaking while together in one place. If you're not truly saved, you've just eaten and drank yourself to DAMNATION. And then there's a little thing called 'peer pressure'." How many sit in the pews and say to themselves; "I certainly don't want to appear 'unworthy'." Take the Lord's Supper at home, with your family, just as the Lord commanded you to pray in your closet, rather than to be SEEN praying before men in the synagogues -- now called the "churches". This should be something special, between you and your Lord and Saviour... just as the moment in time of your salvation was something rather personal. So take the matter of the Lord's Supper as it is meant to be; truly reflect on what He has done for you, with no outside intervention or appearance of "self-righteousness". "...this is my body... For this is my blood..."
Wake Up Ladies! -- READ the Scriptures and follow what has been written in TRUTH... before it is too late. Follow the ways of the Lord before your beloved "pastor" and "church" has led you straight to Hell!
"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the word with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
(Acts 17:11)
